Dear Quizbowl/Academic Teams and Coaches:
Dorman High School would like to invite you to participate in our Dorman Season Ender Tournament on Saturday, April 22, 2017. We will have two NAQT packets for this tournament: IS-165A and MS-22. Varsity and Junior Varsity teams will play together utilizing the IS-165A packet, but we will recognize the top Junior Varsity team. There will be a separate middle school division playing the MS-22 packet. Play will be using standard rules-powers, negs, and three-part bonuses that will bounce back. The registration fee is $60.00 per team before April 10, which includes one set of preliminary-round questions per school. There will be a $10.00 discount available for a working buzzer.
Check-in will be in the Dorman main lobby beginning at 8:00 AM. Preliminary rounds will start promptly at 9:00 AM. Playoff rounds will begin after lunch. The tournament should be over by approximately 4:00 PM.
Lunch will be on site for $5.00 per player and complimentary for up to one coach per team. Please email me at [email protected] with any questions.
