Quiz Bowl Battle Ground Fall Invitational 11/4, Franklin, TN

Good morning, quiz bowl coaches!

I'd like to invite your schools to participate in BGA's Quiz Bowl tournament on November 4, 2017 at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, TN.

The tournament will be both an NAQT and NSC qualifier. We'll be using NAQT IS-168, and the format will be 15 tossups + bonuses in the morning and 20 tossups + bonuses for the playoff rounds. We'll be keeping track of Points Per Bonus (and will use those stats to break any ties). We will also play with powers but no negs.

The cost will be $60 per team with a $5 discount for each school bringing a buzzer system and an additional $5 discount for long-distance travel (over 100 miles).

You can mail your registration check, or you can bring it when you come. We will hand out schedules and other information beginning at 7:45 until the coaches' meeting at 8:30 in the hospitality room.

Lunch will not be provided, but BGA is located in the Cool Springs area of Franklin which means there's food everywhere and close to us.
