Woodford County Academic Invitational 1/20/18 KY

Woodford County High School, located in Versailles, KY (10 miles outside of Lexington, KY) is excited to announce that we will be hosting the Woodford County Academic Invitational on January 20, 2018.
We will be using the Maggie Walker Governor’s School Housewrite, GSAC XXV. Information about the set, including other mirrors and the distribution, can be found at http://www.hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewto ... 9&t=20214h.
We will play untimed rounds of 20 tossups and 20 bonuses, with 15 point powers and -5 point negs. There will be no bouncebacks. Team rosters may consist of up to six players, with no more than four players at a time. Teams with less than four players are welcome. Players cannot move between teams.
Play will be round robin pools in the morning, with re-bracketed afternoon pool play as well. All teams will be guaranteed at least 9 games.
We are seeking PACE certification.
The initial field cap will be 24 teams, with the hope to expand as we gain more staff.
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.
Registration will be
$70 for the initial team from a school, and $60 for any additional teams from a school.
Discounts:
-Buzzer ($5)
-Qualified reader ($10).
-Travel more than 150+ miles one way, as determined by Google Maps ($10)
The minimum fee per team will be $40.
Lunch will be provided on site for a nominal fee. We will have a hospitality room for all coaches, staff, and bus drivers.
