The Quizbowl Resource Center

The Academic Buzzer Team at UIUC is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a mirror of HFT on December 2nd. I, Bradley McLain, will be serving as TD. We are going to be soft capping this at 12 teams.

FEE STRUCTURE:
$60 per A team, $40 for all B, C, ... teams
-$5 per buzzer system (up to -$10)
-$10 for each staffer with laptop (as needed)
-$10 for each 200 miles traveled, one way
Minimum fee: $40 per team
For Illinois teams that only played IHSA and/or Masonic events in the 2016-2017 school year, the entry fee is $20.
For teams that only played IHSSBCA events (excluding NAQT State) in the 2016-2017 school year, the fee is $30

To register, please email me at bamclai2 AT illinois DOT edu. Please use HFT Mirror as your subject and include how many buzzers and staff you will be providing. If you qualify for either of the last two discounts, also indicate this.

Congratulations to Mahomet for winning our mirror of HFT! They defeated IMSA in the first round of an advantaged final 245-190 for the championship. Rounding out the top 4 are Uni A and Uni B.
