JACK (HFT) @ Georgetown: 2/17/18

Georgetown will be hosting its Spring Tournament, JACK (Jesuit Academic Competition of Knowledge), on Saturday, February 17, 2018. We will be mirroring the HFT question set.

Location: The tournament will be hosted on Georgetown campus in the Edward B. Bunn Intercultural Center (commonly known as the ICC). Registration will begin at 8:00 am outside room ICC 115, and we expect round 1 to start at 9:00 am. Parking is available for free on weekends in the Southwest Garage. A map of campus is available at

Base fee: $70 per team
Working buzzer system discount: -$5
Experienced staffer discount: -$10
Travel discount: -$10 (over 150 miles each way)
Minimum fee: $45

To register, please send an email to with the number of teams, working buzzers, experienced moderators you plan on bringing, and if you will be using the travel discount. Please also provide the name and telephone number of a contact for the team. Please pay either in advance or on the day of the tournament. We will be accepting cash and check (if you choose check, please make it out to “Georgetown University Quiz Bowl”).
We have a soft cap of 28 teams but may adjust given staffer availability.
