Culver Academies (in Northern Indiana) announce that we will host the 2006 Midwest Championship on May 13, 2006, using NAQT IS#58. This tournament is intended as a Pre-Nationals tournament so we are hopeful to attract a large crowd of top tier teams from adjoining states, with adjoinging defined loosely- we're looking mostly for teams from IL, IN, MI and OH, but WI, MN, KY, PA and some other states would also be possibilities. Fee structure will be pretty standard with discounts for buzzer systems and long distance travel. We'll give more detail soon, but we wanted to give everybody planty of time to plan ahead.
I have received indications of possible interest from a variety of teams, including Detroit Catholic Central (MI), St. John's (TX), Rockford Auburn (IL), Garfield Heights (OH), and Harrison (IN).
