2006 NAQT Ohio States - Looking for Help

Post by BobGHHS »

Anyone who will be in the Cleveland area on March 11th and would like to help out as a reader at NAQT States, please send me an email at [email protected] ... the more help I can get, the better.

Can we get a team count?

Welcome to Simbabwe, where the property is already owned and the houses built and you compete to burn and dispossess them. Compete with Robert Mugabe, Canaan Banana, Cecil Rhodes and Sir Godfrey Huggins to earn a place on the all-time EU travel ban list!

We're sitting at 12 in D1 and 12 in D2 right now, but I haven't been able to broadcast it yet (will do so tomorrow at buzzerpalooza...)

I have a bunch that have committed verbally but have not given me paperwork or payment yet...

Here is what I have

Garfield (1)
Solon (2)
Findlay (3)
Firestone (1) - verbal
Copley (1)
Lakeside (1)
North Olmsted (2)
Madison (2) - unconfirmed - verbal only
Tol. Desales (2)
WRA (1) - verbal
Fisher (1) - verbal
J.A. Garfield (2)
Tipp (1) - verbal (although I know they are coming)
Trumbull County Technical Center (1)
St. Charles (3)

I want to get 18 and 18, so I can run three brackets of 6 teams... but I'll make do with whatever I get... usually I have all our old team members to help out and read, but a bunch of them are going on a spring break trip this year, so I will be missing them... Hopefully I can get enough outside help that I don't have to worry about it. I have a ton of kids coming from the gifted program at our middle school and the NJHS there to scorekeep... so readers will be the issue, although right now I'm doing ok.

I'm still in need of a few readers for NAQT Ohio States on March 11th... if you can help out, shoot me an email [email protected] .

Note: The tournament is at Garfield Heights High School (not Kent State)

Well, I'm in town, but for Decathlon. Sorry about that.
