Our field is at 19 teams. Until further notice, we're going to cap the field at 24 teams. I will look into ways to increase this cap if needed.

I know I've looked at this field before and it worked, but this sheet currently seems to be broken.gaurav.kandlikar wrote:A list of teams officially registered for this tournament can be viewed here.

Thanks Sarah- should be fixed now. This occasionally happens to all sites due to some google docs wonkiness, so I'd appreciate it if anyone who notices this emails me directly. The Laughing Cavalier wrote:I know I've looked at this field before and it worked, but this sheet currently seems to be broken.

The tournament is only a week away. Do we have confirmation as to what building location and room number on campus will be hosting the tournament?

University of Virginia B (Daniel Hothem, Jack Mehr, and Eric Xu) defeated Wililam & Mary (John McCorick (sp.?), Jonathan Leidenheimer, Alex Frey, Chris Miller, and Adam Lenhart) in an advantaged final to win this tournament. UVa B was also the Undergraduate champion.
In DII finals, UVa A (Ben Fultz, Vasa Clarke, and Ria Witteman) defeated Virginia Tech A (Brian Mongilio, Michael Chuber, and Matt Fleischer).
Stats are uploaded here. I am aware that the prelim files may have typos in individual names; I will fix those over the next day or so. If you notice your name misspelled in the combined stats page (or if you notice anything else off), please email me.
Thanks to all for coming. It was good to meet a lot of local teams for the first time. Please remember to share your comments in the ACF Fall Discussion thread which should be up later tonight.
EDIT (11 Nov): player names have been updated on the stats. I forgot to do Thank Yous last time around, but a big thanks to all of the staffers who helped make this tournament smooth. Special thanks to Cody and Matt W. for helping me figure out some issues as I got my head back into TDing, and to Dan and Brian from MD for answering a lot of questions in the week leading up to the tournament. Thanks also to Sam Bailey, Marshall Steinbaum, Jonathan Magin and Dennis Loo for spending their day with us despite not being affiliated with anyone directly involved in the event.

Re: ACF Fall 2014 at U. Maryland, College Park (8 Nov 2014)
The ACF eligibility committee was recently contacted by Eric Xu, who played on the University of Virginia's B team at Maryland's ACF Fall site. Eric was not enrolled in UVA classes at the time of this tournament, but he received provisional permission to play for UVA on the condition that he enroll in one or more classes there in the spring. Recently, Eric informed us that his plans to take a spring class have fallen through, and he therefore has neither retroactive nor future eligibility to play for UVA.
Because Eric was ineligible to play at this tournament, UVA B will vacate its victories, as well as its placement as the overall and undergraduate champion. William & Mary, which finished second with losses only to UVA B, will be the new overall and UG champion. UVA A remains the Division II champion.
ACF has every reason to believe that Eric fully intended to enroll in a class at UVA for the spring semester when he contacted us in the fall. Eric was very forthright with us about his situation, and we explicitly cleared him to play ACF Fall at the time. Therefore, this action should not be interpreted as a punitive measure against either Eric or the UVA team, or as an implication of impropriety on the part of anyone involved.
We will contact the teams involved privately to discuss an exchange of trophies.
