STIMPY at Caltech (4/25/15)

Caltech will be hosting a mirror of STIMPY on April 25th, 2015. Details on submitting packets can be found on the Global Announcement page. There will be an initial field cap of 10 teams. If we see enough interest, we might be able to expand the field a little. The tournament will be held in Baxter Hall.

Fees:

Base Fee: $100 per team
Buzzers: -$5 per working system
Moderators: -$10 each
Travel: -$10 per 200 miles traveled one way

Registration:

To register, send an e-mail to [email protected] including the number of teams you will be bringing, any discounts you will be claiming, and a contact phone number. Payment by cash and check are both fine. If paying by check, make the check payable to Caltech Quiz Bowl Club.

The packet requirement for this site has been waived. Teams that have not submitted packets but are otherwise eligible may now play this tournament. The current field is as follows.

If anybody out there still wants to sign up, please try to do so soon. I will be closing the field at 8AM tomorrow, after which I can't guarantee spots in the field for additional teams.

Congratulations to Berkeley and friends for going undefeated to win the tournament and La Jolla A for finishing in second with a 7-3 record! Thanks to everybody who came to play as well as Auroni and Mik, who joined us to moderate.
