Assuming the Canadian mirror hasn't moved to Maryland, I would like to register a team.

Assuming I'm teaching French this semester, I'll be looking to play this at Waterloo rather than Maryland. Can I be tentatively signed up, and I'll see if I can acquire some teammates?

I've talked to various people abut this, but I do hope this is moved to Sunday so everyone can staff the NHBB regional tournament on Saturday.

After checking with our club president, this tournament has officially been moved to Sunday the 28th to avoid conflicts with the aforementioned History Bee/Bowl tournament.

At this point it seems Jay's team is going to be Elizabeth, Huma, and myself

Original post has been updated with logistical information. Except in the unlikely event that the field size changes, we will play a quadruple round robin of 12 games, with a break for lunch after round 6, followed by finals if necessary.

I look forward to seeing you all Sunday at the wonderful brutalist beacon of MC!

The team of Liao/Otsason/Rajasekaran which formerly planned on at the Maryland site will now be playing at this site. I've added them as a team to the field, because I'd imagine they still want to play together, but still intend to run this with four teams to maximize playing time. This means we can combine the rest of interested people into two teams rather than three which will help people still looking for teammates.

To be perfectly clear, I am playing this at the Maryland site, so Aayush and Rein is a two person team.

9:15? I like it. Also, Kurtis will take the place of Elizabeth on our team, so Luka remains the only free agent.

Alright, field has been updated with all recent changes. Rein and Aayush asked to duo so we'll put Luka (the only remaining free agent) onto the team of Dennis and Ian.

Thank you to everyone who came out to play this tournament today!
"Joe Su, Jay of Huma-n's Desiring", led by top scorer Jay Misuk, went 8-4 through our quadruple round robin which put them in an advantaged final against the "Party Crashers", and won the first game of the finals 190-160 to win the tournament.
A huge thank you also goes out to our readers Kira and Ming-Ho, and to Aayush for his advice in running the tournament.

Thanks again everyone! I hope you enjoyed the day

Thank you very much for hosting yesterday, Waterloo! It as a very enjoyable tournament, despite the small field, and I think everyone had a good time. Shout outs to Isaac for doing a great job running the tournament yesterday, and to Kira and Ming-Ho for staffing through 13 rounds of delightfully tough trivia. See you all at Hybrid!
