2016 ACF Nationals Bids

Post by t-bar »

Hello everyone,

ACF has computed Nationals qualification A-Values based on Regionals performances. They can be viewed at this link.

Teams highlighted in purple, blue, or yellow have earned automatic bids to ACF Nationals, which you can read all about in the tournament announcement. All remaining teams will be considered for ACF Nationals qualification in descending order of A-Value. The field cap for ACF Nationals is 44 teams; the teams highlighted in green would be the ones to make it into the field if every team accepted its bid.

New this year, ACF is asking all teams to provisionally accept or decline a hypothetical Nationals bid as soon as possible. Once a team has actually earned a bid, we will issue it or pass over them depending on their response. When you get a chance, please submit one copy of this form for each of your teams that played Regionals, indicating whether you would accept or decline a Nationals bid. Please do this as soon as you can, and please submit this form even if you got an autobid, so we know that you intend to redeem it. This will allow us to issue bids to eligible teams immediately as they become available, rather than waiting on responses.

Note that accepting a bid does not register you for the tournament! Once your bid has been issued and you know your staffer and buzzer situation, please head on over to this form to actually submit your registration.

Let me know if you have any questions!
