Maryland summer practice
Hey everyone, I'm going to be living in College Park until the first week of July, so if anyone is in or around the area and has any desire to play some questions, please contact me to let me know what days of the week you're free in the evenings so that I can set up a regular date and time. Obviously these practices are open to everyone, and as usual they'll be held in Jimenez Hall. I'd love to see you around!

I'll probably continue these throughout July once Naveed leaves. Our Lady Peace wrote:Hey everyone, I'm going to be living in College Park until the first week of July, so if anyone is in or around the area and has any desire to play some questions, please contact me to let me know what days of the week you're free in the evenings so that I can set up a regular date and time. Practices will be held on Thursday afternoons from 6 to 9, starting this Thursday. They'll be on the first floor of Jimenez Hall, the usual location for Maryland tournaments. Please send me an e-mail if you need any further information.

Re: Maryland summer practice
Due to ongoing construction in Jimenez, practice tomorrow (and fire the foreseeable future) will be held in 0119 Francis Scott Key Hall, on the opposite side of the mall. It will be on the ground floor; enter beneath the large stairs at the front of the building. Contact me with any issues you have.

Monday practices have been canceled due to lack of interest. Practice will continue as scheduled every Thursday.

Hey, you guys should come today because there'll maybe be pizza to commemorate my last weekend in College Park and my last Maryland practice. If you can't come we'll also be having the first ever Maryland Academic Quiz Team mukbang (or MAQTbang).

Re: Maryland summer practice
Practice will happen again next week, but on Wednesday instead. The MAQT-bang will be happening again - I am taking food requests. Possible options:
1) McDonalds
2) Chipotle
3) Pizza (probably from a local shop)
4) suggestions welcome!

Usually you can just call the local 양념치킨 or 짜장면 place and have it delivered to you with free 무 (or 단무지 if you're getting 짜장면) and beer. If you're okay with non-kosher food, 탕수육 is usually a better (albeit a little pricey) option that you can split with your mates, or you can just order a 짬뽕 for everyone.

Translation: If you're doing delivery, go for fried chicken or jajangmyeon; if you're dining in, start with chadolbagi, and anything is good except samgyeopsal which is basically 90% fat and grease. If you're doing the dank open grill (which you should), then get at least one more item to either eat by yourself or share with the bros. I recommend kimchi jjigae / sundubu / doenjang jjigae for hot foods, naengmyeon / bibim naengmyeon for cold foods, and dolsot bibimbap if you want rabbit food. Most Korean restaurants don't have sparkling water, though, so you'll have to make do without.
