How is my Question?

Post by CAkE »

I tried writing a question and I wanted to see how I can improve it. I'm not really sure if the material I put in the question is good or if the length is appropriate, so if you guys could help me improve the question that would be nice. Thanks

1. This water deity’s rival is his half-brother, Hastur the Unspeakable, a deity of air and this deity is describe as having the form of “an octopus, a dragon and a human caricature”. He is supposedly trapped under the sea in his house at R’lyeh sleeping. FTP name this Old One who will rise from the sea when the stars are right.

Your giveaway is okay, but I think the easiest phrase there is "Old One." I might change it to "FTP, name this Old One appearing in "At the Mountains of Madness" and other Lovecraft works."

It seems a little short, and "water deity" seems like a bit easy for the beginning of the question.
But I like it, Lovecraft never comes up.
