Dear Friends:
I had a quiz bowl team dropped on my lap about 4 years ago, and it has mutated from four students to twenty plus in those short years. We currently operate under a small regional construct in South Carolina called the Old English Consortium, comprised of 13 high school teams. We won "state" last year, though the tournament really only contained two regions.
The reason I am writing this post is because I would like to have a six person travel team to compete at the NAQT level. Because I am a complete neophyte as to how NAQT works, I would love to have ANY advice and/or help necessary (fundraising, scheduling, etc.) to accomplish this goal. Thank you so much in advance.
Cordially,
Looking to move up a level

Welcome to the forums, Coach Hodge!
You can find a schedule of upcoming NAQT events in the Carolinas here.
Since you're in South Carolina, you should definitely get in touch with Coach Geoffrey Thomas at Dorman High in Spartanburg. Details about their January tournament are here.
