Working on the preseason top 25 right now. As I just noted on the site, I won't be doing a top 50 because the second half of that tended to be teams who would show up in my top 200 pre-nationals, but not with any reliability as to where.

I am fairly confident that Thomas has graduated. I am not sure, but I don't think Will or Dan have graduated.

That is correct (though whether he or any other non-me member of our team will be at any given tournament is unknowable). Ben Weinstein was the only senior last year who went to any tournaments.

Due to dropping my laptop on a hardwood floor and waiting 7+ hours for the "repairing disk errors" screen to finish its thing, we're going to have some delays.

So the great laptop death of 2015 has eaten my preview file I'd been working on. Fortunately, it looks like every other stat file was backed up somewhere. I hope I can find my boot disk and pull it off of there, but I'm not feeling too confident about that working.
If your team finished in the top 100 pre-nationals, I'd really appreciate it if you'd email me an accurate breakdown of who's returning and who's leaving your (ranked) team for the 2015-16 season.

I finally got my laptop back up and running, and I'm working on getting everything set up. Again. At least I've made sure this file is located in my Dropbox folder from the word go.
If you've yet to send me a list of returning players for your team, I could still use that info and would gladly accept your help.

Dear everybody: There is someone commenting on the rankings under my name. It is not me. I do not know who it is, but I know someone has been impersonating members of LASA--on the elevator at HSNCT Ethan met another team and asked who they were and they said they were LASA. It might be the same people.

Corin has stated on HSQB, and his coach Jason Flowers has stated in a private email to me, that Corin did not make the comments on this blog. While I don't know Corin, I know Jason pretty well and I'm inclined to believe him.
I'd like to encourage the person or people who are abusing the commenting system to make statements intended to misrepresent other people to stop doing that. The comments are useful tool for me to gather feedback to my work, quickly receive corrections, and have an easy way to get stats or other information I may have missed. While doing this to anyone is galling, to do it to an adolescent is particularly offensive and reprehensible.
I'd encourage anyone who has judged Corin due to these comments falsely attributed to him to be aware that he did not make these statements. I'd also hope that whoever did this would apologize to Corin and admit their role in this.

From the completely positive interactions that I have had with Corin in the past, it would be so out of character for him to have made those statements that I am 100% confident that he was not the person who did. Someone must be having an extremely boring summer and/or life.

With the information Fred has provided to me, we have been able to link at least one of the addresses involved to someone who is registered here. I won't speak further about that at this time, but I would encourage the guilty person(s) to step forward and accept responsibility for their actions sooner rather than later.

Corin is a fabulous player. Obviously, someone feels (probably correctly) they're nowhere close to being as good as Corin. So, they're trying character assassination out of jealousy. Pretty lame and shameful. But hopefully the perp will see the error or his ways at some point.
