Depends on my schedule, but it's a low priority deal compared to school and high school rankings.

Probably not nearly enough stats yet. There are a lot more high school tournaments to construct models from.

That's what I suspected, just wanted to make sure.

Sorry for the terribly late reply, I'm not very active on the forums, but I can confirm that Katherine Enright will be playing for Singapore American School A again this year.

Thanks for the help, Aryaman.

Okay, everyone. I'm getting very close to finishing the rankings. If you're a team that played under a pseudonym and you want me to consider your pseudonymous performance(s), email me at [email protected] or PM me and let me know in the next 24 hours or so. Even if your team is "known" for that pseudonym, please refresh my memory.

The next update should be up Friday.

This is the best birthday present I could have ever hoped for.

Are you going to release your stat adjustments?

I'll do that the next time I can bear to look at it, haha.

You can figure some of them out, judging teams by common sets played. If I did my math correctly, and assuming IS is 0.00, then A-sets are -4.09. BASK is -0.40. CALI is -0.06. I don't know about any of the other sets.

The Seahawks are too da-- wait, sorry, that's how the conversation goes in the other ranking thread I tend to visit.

Thank you a hundred times over for all the work you put into this, Fred.

I suppose you're right. GSAC is +0.36 from what I can tell.

Going to try to get a new set of rankings out over spring break, so in a couple of weeks. Wasn't able to this block of school because chemotherapy is very difficult to learn.

Hey, Fred. Do you anticipate having these complete in what remains of March?

They're being worked on right now; I still have about a month or two of non-NAQT stats to filter through and then adjustments to (re-)calculate. No testing, cramming or Scrabble this weekend, so I hope to finish up by Easter, or at least be very close to being done.

Ranking update: I've added some 1600 stat lines so far for this calendar year. Other than looking at the Texas site, I'm done digging up stats at this point and "just" need to calculate the adjustments. Then I'll come up with new rankings and will have them posted; I hope I can finish this up in the next few days.

St. Mark's A (Dallas, Texas) was missing two of its players (including its by-far best) for the 1/9/16 Mustang Rally, which used an A-level packet, so its performance in that tournament does not reflect the actual strength of the team.

Fred has historically ranked teams based largely or entirely on their best performances, so this shouldn't be a problem as long as you have other tournament result(s) at full strength:
http://hsqbrank.com/faq/ wrote:7) Our actual A-team was missing a player(s) at a tournament we played at. Will this affect our rankings?

No, as long as you play a tournament with your full A-team at some point. If you end up missing players all season long, there’s no real reliable way I can adjust for that as of now.

What Stephen said was correct.

Too much school = rankings hopefully updated by the weekend of the 16th. Don't be shocked if it waits until pre-nationals time.

Yes! I finished my finals last week, so I'm going to get back to collecting stats and working on this over the next couple of weeks.
