Hey I'd just like to clarify that while we're from the same school district, there are two separate Downingtown schools that regularly play quizbowl (East and STEM). I think you probably meant Downingtown STEM in the poll since they'll be much more dominant than us this year, so it might be useful to specify that.

Isn't it pretty much just LVS v. Hunter at this point?

I did in fact mean Downington STEM, as I was unsure if they were the same or different or which one was which. I can't edit the poll now, so just be aware that it is in fact Downington STEM.

Hey guys, Haggai here! I miss the HS Quizbowl circuit, but life goes on. I'm starting a quizbowl club, and came here to see how interested people would be if I hosted a tournament here at Stony Brook University. If so, it probably would be run in the spring. Let me know. I Hope y'all are having a great quizbowl season so far!

Hey, Haggai! Depending on if the date or set conflicts with anything else, there's a definitive chance we'd be down. Miss you around the circuit!

This seems like as good a place as any to post this. I'm currently living in Philadelphia, and over the past couple of years I have acquired several buzzer sets (5 or 6, I think). I still need to test them and see if they all still work. But if teams in the greater Philly area need to borrow a couple of sets for a tournament (or even for practice), I'd be happy to lend them. Just contact me and if I can help, we'll chat about how.
