Monetizing My Madness II: another PACE Fundraiser

I'm doing again what I did last year, where I launched a fundraiser for PACE based off of how many hours I spent ranking teams. Quoting parts from last year's announcement that are still relevant:
What I'm asking you to do is make a pledge on a per-hour basis to PACE's Outreach Fund. For each hour I work on the rankings, you make a donation. Since I've been a poor college student/graduate before, I really don't care how much you pledge (though we probably should agree that a penny per hour is a reasonable minimum).

(F)eel free to commit to a flat amount, either as a fail safe or else as an alternative to a per-hour basis

I'll post a public list of everyone who's pledged. If you'd prefer to stay anonymous, you can do so.

It'll be each individual's responsibility to make good on their donation at the end of the year. If you fail to donate what you pledged, I won't refrain from shaming you.
Since I'm doing a Patreon this year, I should clarify that some work I'm doing will not count toward this. This includes any work I do for podcasts or other work exclusively for Patreon subscribers. If you have to choose between doing the Patreon or donating to PACE, I would honestly prefer you do the donation to PACE.

Last year I put in 98 hours of work, which lead to $2379 donated to PACE's Outreach Fund. I'm hoping to break at least $3000 this year.

To sign up, post in this thread or email me at [email protected].

As a reminder: PACE is a 501(c)(3)! Your donations are tax deductible!

It's been awhile since I updated this.

I'm up to 88 hours spent this year updating the rankings. I'm probably going to end up flirting with 100 by the time the next week is through, between All-World selections, updating the rankings, and putting together NAQT & "PACE"/mACF/non-NAQT rankings.

Please consider donating again this year. The PACE Outreach fund can do a lot of good to try to spread quiz bowl; for example, it helped pay for the postage & printing of recognition letters for the teams ranked at midseason that were sent out to local politicians. I know that in a few cases, those generated official recognition from those politicians.

Thanks to a little insomnia, I've completed the first & most of the second All-World teams, leaving 21 players to be selected. This has pushed me up to 105 hours spent this year on HSQBRank stuff; I'm hoping to complete this particular task this week with 2-3 more hours of work.

Once that's done, all that will be left is calculating adjustments for HSNCT & NSC and then updating the rankings for one final post-nationals set.

With the posting of the final set of rankings, we finish the year at 109 hours. I'll be contacting our donors

If you'd still like to donate to PACE, please visit http://www.pace-nsc.org/donate-to-pace/ for information on how to do that.

Thank you to everyone for supporting PACE this year!
