Stats from old MIT tournaments

Post by t-bar »

Stats from several old MIT tournaments have been gathering dust on our club website for a while, and I decided that they would be much more visible and useful if they were uploaded to the Quizbowl Resource Database. And so:

High school:

MITBAT I, March 5, 2005
MITBAT II, March 4, 2006 (no stats, but partial results)
MITBAT III, March 3, 2007
MITBAT IV, March 1, 2008
MITBAT V, March 14, 2009
MITBAT VI, February 25, 2012

College:

2003 ACF Regionals, MIT site, February 15, 2003*
Beaver Bonspiel X, October 25, 2003
2004 ACF Regionals, MIT site, February 14, 2004*
Beaver Bonspiel XI, October 23, 2004
Beaver Bonspiel XII, October 22, 2005
Something called the "First Harvard-MIT Scrimmage", September 23, 2007
2007 ACF Fall, MIT site, November 3, 2007
Beaver Bonspiel XIV, February 2, 2008
2009 NAQT SCT, MIT site, February 7, 2009

* I couldn't find exact dates for the 2003 and 2004 ACF Regionals tournaments, so I made my best guesses. If anyone knows the dates for sure, please let me know.

I encourage anyone else who has old stats lying around to upload them to the database, so that they can be gathered in a central, easily-accessible location. In addition, I created database entries for several old NAQT sets while uploading these entries. What is the proper thing to do with these--should I transfer custodianship of them to Jeff?

Seems like the only MIT tournament from that (glorious) era that's missing is the MO 2008 mirror (viewtopic.php?f=21&t=6127&start=0)

Ted Gioia gave me the packets for the Harvard-MIT scrimmage back when it happened, here they are. I don't remember who exactly wrote them, but somebody on their teams did and then they played 3 games as a a scrimmage in the early fall that year.
