ACF Regionals at Stanford (January 30, 2016)

Post by Galadedrid Damodred »

Stanford University will host the California mirror of ACF Regionals on January 30, 2016. I, Austin Brownlow, will be the tournament director. For specific questions about this tournament (hotels, parking, and the like), send an email to me (acb13 AT stanford DOT edu). For general information about ACF Regionals (fee structure, submission schedule, and the like), refer to the global announcement. I will add a link to the registration form in this post when that goes live. EDIT: The registration form can be found here.

Field (FINAL as of 1/27):

Stanford (3)
Berkeley (4)
Washington (2)
UCLA
UC Davis

UW is thinking of bringing a team or two to this, but won't be able to confirm until a later date.

Stanford A went undefeated in the round robin and defeated Berkeley A in the first game of an advantaged final to win the tournament. Many thanks to our excellent team of staffers, which consisted of Terry Drinkwater, Nicholas Karas, Niki Peters, Dennis Sun, and Andrew Yaphe. Complete results:

Overall
1st: Stanford A
2nd: Berkeley A

UG
1st: Berkeley A
2nd: UCLA

D2
1st: UCLA
2nd: Berkeley C
