Post by Emperor Pupienus »

The University of Chicago is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a mirror of NAQT's Collegiate Novice (IS-158C) set on Saturday, October 8th. I, Jason Zhou, will be tournament director.

Cost:
$15 per person

Discounts:
Buzzer systems with at least eight functional buzzers: -$5 each
Buzzer systems with fewer than eight buzzers: -$0 each
Travel: -$10 per 200 miles traveled one way
New Team: -$10/team if your school did not attend any tournaments in the 2015/16 year

Minimum fee is $35/team.

The field will be capped at 12 teams for now, as our room reservations are pending. We are hopeful that there will be demand for more rooms and that we will be able to secure said rooms from the administration.

Congrats to UChicago A (Ali Syed, Rohan Gandhi, Teddy Knox, and Jack Chaillet) for defeating UChicago B (Abby Kuchnir, Jake Carbone, Noah Levine, and Amara Balan) in a one-game final, 435-290.

Complete stats are here, and please contact me at [email protected] with any stats corrections.

Thanks to all the teams for attending, and I hope you all had a good time!
