The University of Central Florida is ecstatic to announce that we are mirroring the harder of NAQT's Collegiate Novice sets on Saturday, 9/24. The tournament will be held on UCF's main campus in Orlando, FL in the Business Administration building.
Eligibility and Difficulty
The set we have been given is geared towards collegiate players with some high school experience. We intend for this to be a tournament where most players can enjoy some success, and to the end of truncating the top tier of Florida quizbowlers, players are only eligible for our tournament if they:
1. Are enrolled in college
2. Have never qualified for ICT, ACF Nationals, or CCCT
3. Have never played ICT, ACF Nationals, or CCCT
These are the rules, but we would be glad to make exceptions for players who feel (and whose stats reflect) that they should be eligible for this tournament - just email us. Though I doubt there will be (m)any out-of-state teams interested, you are completely welcome and we would love to have you.
