2017 ACF Regionals at UCF (2/18/17)

UCF Quizbowl proudly announces that we will host the Florida mirror of ACF Regionals on Saturday, February 18th, 2017. More information about the set and packet submission can be found in ACF's global announcement: http://www.hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewto ... =8&t=19259.

Logistics
Location TBD on UCF’s Main Campus in Orlando, Florida. Registration will open at 8 AM, Registration will end at 8:45 AM, and rounds will start at 9:05 AM.

Parking and Lodging
Parking will depend on which building the University assigns us. There are many affordable hotels near UCF that can be used by traveling teams, but if you do plan on staying overnight, contact me - there are also a lot of crumby hotels in Orlando.

Cost
Base fee: $135
Buzzer: -$5/functional system
Staffers: -$10/competent staffer
Shorthanded discount (teams of less than 3 players): -$75
New to quizbowl discount: $-100 (note: UCF, UF, FSU, and NCF do not qualify for this)

Payment must be submitted through ACF following their new procedures, NOT given to anyone at UCF.

Packet Submission
As noted in the global announcement, any team that contains a player who played a collegiate, regular-difficulty academic tournament prior to September 1, 2015 is required to submit a packet, and the submission schedule is:
December 11th, 2016: -$50
December 28th, 2016: -$25
January 8th, 2017: +$0
January 22nd, 2017: +$25
February 5th, 2017: +$50
After that, +$10 for each additional day that you're late.
After February 12th, you will be dropped from the tournament, with no exceptions.
