Early Fall Tournament (EFT) at WKU (CANCELLED)

On behalf of the WKU Academic Competition Club, I am happy to announce that Western Kentucky University will again host a mirror of the Early Fall Tournament (details here) on Saturday, October 14, 2017.

Location and Time:
We have not yet secured rooms, but you can expect this tournament, like nearly all of our past tournaments, to take place in Cherry Hall. Updates to come.

Regarding time, we would like teams to arrive between 8:00 and 8:45 AM. Our opening meeting will occur at 8:45 or immediately following the arrival of all teams, whichever comes first. Round 1 will begin no later than 9:00 AM. Please note that Bowling Green is located in the Central Time Zone, so make plans accordingly.

Field Size:
We will initially set a soft field cap of 12 teams, but if we have sufficient demand and the staffers to handle that demand, we will raise the cap accordingly.

Eligibility:
This tournament is open to any interested college or high school teams. For more details on this, please consult the main tournament thread.

Base fee: $120 per team
Discounts:
Buzzers: -$10 per working system
Moderator: -$15 per moderator
Travel: -$10 per 200 miles (one way)
Minimum fee: $50 per team

Payment:
We will accept either cash or check on the morning of the tournament. Further instructions (along with an invoice) will be given upon registration.
