This is the official announcement for the Florida Spring Tournament or FST, formerly known as SUN II. Additional Writers:

Tracy Mirkin (of UF)
Yonathan Stone, Leo Law, and Katia Diamond (of NCF)

The slightly unorthodox distribution is as follows:

Some quick updates on this set.

We are presently 85% done with writing the set and as stated above the final tournament will features 12 power marked packets of 20/20.

We are seeking possible mirror sites in the non-Florida Southeast, Northeast, and West Coast Regions. If you are a school from one of these regions or anywhere else not near a present site, let me know if you are interested in mirroring. Mirror fees are $40 per non-house team.

We are seeking people who are not planning on playing the tournament to playtest the questions over Skype. If you are interested on hearing some questions and giving feedback, email me at [email protected]

Finally I'd also like to announce a bundled side-event packet included with all mirrors of this tournament: A packet of 20 tossups on named historical animals (think, Laika the Space Dog but not that one) written by me. Now accepting dumb appropriate acronyms for the name of this packet.

Is there a discussion forum for this? If not, can there be one made?

Thanks for everyone for coming out! Congratulations to UF B, who beat out UCF A in a one game final to win the tournament.

Stats can be found here.

Not yet. The powers that be have to set that up, right?

Also, we played Entirely Real Landscapes as a one room shoot out. We had a ton of fun with it, and highly recommend it.
