Entirely Real Landscapes online (April 1st)

Post by CPiGuy »

I'd like to run Entirely Real Landscapes online for those of you who want to play it but can't make it to a physical site where it's being played.

Here's a survey to figure out a good date and time to run it online. If you're at all interested in playing, fill this out. It doesn't constitute a commitment to play. Please be nice and only fill it out once. In a week or so I'll announce a date and time and set up a signup sheet. Format to be determined based on number of interested players, but likely a shootout (with promotion between rooms if necessary) or a 4- or 6-team round robin.

I'm going to hold this on April 1st, starting at noon Eastern time. Here's a signup sheet; I'm going to tentatively make this a tournament for doubles teams but reserve the right to turn it into a shootout or larger teams if there aren't enough staffers or teams. (Also, let me know if you can staff this.)

I might do another one in late April or May if there are more than a few people who can't play it on the 1st.

Edit: since I forgot to mention this, I'll be charging $10 per person.

Here's a Discord link.

The way this is going to work is that everyone is going to join the Discord, and then there'll just be a video call involving everyone in which I will share my screen. If we get more than 9 other people, I'll need someone else to moderate.

Be online at noon tomorrow if you'd like to play.

Looks like my habit of searching new places on Google Images helped a lot, even if it's not the best way of revising for quizbowl! Thanks for running the whole thing, Conor, it was very enjoyable and helped be get through this flu-stricken evening.
