The Quizbowl Resource Center

The New York University Quizbowl team is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a mirror of Spartan Housewrite on Saturday February 16th 2019.

I will be serving as TD of this tournament. To register, email me rrp346 AT nyu dot edu ([email protected]) with Spartan Housewrite registration in the subject line.

The tournament will take place at NYU’s Global Center for Academic and Spiritual Life (GCASL) building, which is located at 238 Thompson Street. We will begin registration at 9 AM and hope to get games going by 9:30. We will be capping the field at 20 teams.

Payment:
Base Fee: $120 dollars/team
Buzzer Discount: - $5 dollars/functional buzzers
Travel Discount: - $10 for every 200 miles traveled to New York, NY as determined by Google Maps.
Staffer Discount: - $10 for every approved staffer

Please pay us in cash or make a check out to Quiz Bowl @ NYU. If your team needs an invoice please contact me before the tournament and we will send it to you.

Thank you to everyone who came out today. Columbia cleared the round robin with a 10 - 0 record and Harvard coming in second with a 9 - 1 record. An advantaged final followed, with Columbia emerging victorious.
