2015 ACF Fall Subject Editor Application

This year, ACF will be soliciting applications for subject editorship of ACF Fall, which will take place the weekend of November 7, 2015. This change will make our editor selection process more transparent and inclusive of the community, hopefully reveal some editing talent that would otherwise go untapped, and ensure the continued quality of ACF tournaments. Any collegiate or post-collegiate writers with prior writing experience are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

Fill out this Google form. Among other things, the form requires 1) a sample of questions written and 2) a reference who can discuss your writing and editing ability. We will evaluate applications on the basis of writing quality and demonstrated ability to meet regular editing deadlines.

Please submit applications by Saturday, July 11, 2015, just short of two weeks from today. We aim to finalize the editing team within the following week.

2015 ACF Fall will be edited by Joey Goldman, Eddie Kim, Dylan Minarik, Ryan Rosenberg, Andrew Wang, and Nathan Weiser. I believe these folks will do an excellent job, and am pleased to have them on board. We got a decent amount of applicants, all of whom were fairly qualified, and I hope those whom we did not take on remain interested in future ACF projects (if those sets also receive editor applications).
