MOO Mirror at Harvard (10/08/11)

Harvard College Bowl will be hosting the MIssiles of October (MOO), a tournament written by the University of Michigan and University of Virginia, on 10/8/2011. I will be directing the tournament.

Fees:
Base fee per team: $100
Competent Moderator: -$10 each
Functional Buzzer: -$10 each
Distance: -$10 per 200 miles traveled determined by Google Maps (one way)
Min Fee per school: $60

REGISTRATION:

To register, email me at dallas.simons (at) gmail.com. Please indicate how many teams you're bringing (or interested in bringing) and what discounts you think you apply for (such as the number of moderators and buzzers you're bringing).

This tournament will take place in Sever Hall, and the control room/registration room will be Sever 208.

Can we get a field update for this? (Also agreeing with Aaron that it's cool when tournaments have locations.)

Apparently people on RPI quizbowl really like going to tournaments now so put us down for 3 teams.

To those wondering about parking:

There's a parking lot on 1033 Massachusetts Avenue, about 3 or 4 blocks from Sever Hall. You can get a parking permit for $5 from Harvard's website. If you've never done this before, you will have to make an account online and will need to use the code 7700 to make an account as a visitor.

The Harvard house team defeated Yale in both games of the advantaged final. Stats will be coming soon.
