This is the formal announcement for the permanently named Larry Munson Memorial Hybrid Tournament, to be held on the campus of Cedar Shoals HS, in Athens, GA, on April 7, 2012 (the day before Easter).
In upholding the annual tradition, the hybrid means COACHES CAN PLAY. We will have our three divisions as well:
Professional: All adults/coaches/open players
Hybrid: Mixed student/adult teams (no more than two adults)
Amateur: Students only
Price? The astoundingly low low price of $60 (well...compared to our other events, and, let's face it, I'm sure coffers are drying up by then).
Book prizes will be awarded to each winning team in the their division. This tournament isn't normally big and we try to keep it that way. Right now, we will cap the field at 12 and figure out how to work when the true numbers come in.

Please note: This packet was used at Berry College back in January. If you went there, you will not be able to play here.
More information to come as we inch closer, but, as always, the Hybrid is a fun, end of the year event. No pressure. No National implications. Just plain old fashioned quizbowl! :)
