Collins Hill (GA) JV Season Ender 4/28/12

Collins Hill High School is proud to announce the Collins Hill JV Season Ender Tournament on Saturday, April 28th, 2012. This tournament will be using NAQT set 112A and students up to 10th grade will be allowed to participate in the tournament.

The tournament will be at the campus of Collins Hill High School located in Suwanee, GA.

*Each round will consist of 20 tossups with 3-part bonuses with bouncebacks

Based on our initial cap of 18 teams, we will have 3 groups of 6 teams compete in a preliminary round robin (5 matches). We will break for lunch (about 1 hour) and then there will be a playoff (rebracketed round robin or single elimination). Teams will be ranked based on win/loss record, then points per game, and then points per bonus (if necessary).

Registration will begin at 8AM and we hope to start Round 1 at 8:45 (9AM at the latest).

The fee for the tournament will be $65 for the first team and $55 for each additional team (up to 3 teams total). There are $5 discounts for bringing a working buzzer system and a reader/worker.

With less than 3 weeks to go, the field is slowly shaping up. Let me know if your team is interested in attending. This will be a great chance for younger players to get in some experience for next year!

Quick field update. We are at 13 teams at the moment so we would like another team to even out the field. If you are still on the fence and want to be the 14th team, let me know. If no one signs up then we'll have a second house team for team #14.

A note about the stats:
I am missing the stats for the Buford/Northgate game in round 9 so I guessed (the final score is correct)... other than that the stats should be accurate.
