Marist WIT, January 7th, 2017 (Atlanta, GA)

This year Marist School (Atlanta, Georgia) will host the fifth annual Marist School Winter Tournament (WIT) on Saturday, January 7th, 2017. The tournament will mirror the Virginia Tech VTACO. The tournament format will feature five preliminary matches followed by a re-bracketed playoff. Teams will be guaranteed 10 rounds. Bouncebacks will not be used. Teams will be limited to six members with four playing at a time.

Teams from around the Southeast are welcomed and encouraged to attend. We hope to attract some of the best teams from around the region.

The cost of the tournament will be a flat fee of $90, which will include lunches for four players and one coach. Additional lunches may be purchased separately in advance. If you can bring an experienced reader, there is a -$10 discount and working buzzer systems are -$5 discounts (limited to the first 12 schools to claim the discount; not to exceed one per school). If you travel more than 100 miles (according to Google maps), you will receive an additional -$10 discount.

The initial field will be limited to 18 teams until additional readers can be secured. Until the field expands, each school may only register two teams. Additional teams from the same school will be placed on a wait list.
