Downingtown East Invitational @ DEHS (Exton, PA)- 1/6/18

Downingtown East High School is excited to announce our high school invitational on Saturday, January 6, 2018. Registration will be from at 8-8:30 AM, with matches starting at 9. This tournament will be directed by myself and Jackie Wu.

This tournament will have two divisions: experienced and novice. Any team may register for the experienced division, while the novice division is designed for underclassmen or those with less quizbowl experience. Please ask if you're not sure which division is appropriate for your team! Each school may register 3 teams total initially. Additional teams will be added to a waitlist.

Location: 50 Devon Drive, Exton, PA 19341

Fee Structure:
$75 for first team
$65 per additional team
-$5 per fully functional buzzer system
-$10 per experienced moderator
-$25 per school for schools new to quiz bowl this year (or those that have not played in the past 2 years)

Minimum fee: $50 per team

Please bring payment (cash or checks made out to “Downingtown East High School”) on the morning of the tournament.

This tournament has been expanded to our hard cap of 42 teams with a split of 30 experienced and 12 novice. It is also now platinum certified by PACE, so the top 25% of teams will qualify for the PACE NSC in June.
