Are there any plans to use Ophirstats for CMST?

According to Ophir, it does not look like the system used for ACF Regionals will be implemented elsewhere.

An update: we will do our best to be able to provide the option for Ophir's stats to be able to be used by any host that wishes to use them for the tournament. Also, we have decided to make a distributional change by putting CS into the 0.5/0.5 Math part of the Other Science category. This decision happening this late is entirely my fault, and I'm sorry to the math players, but I believe this will lead to the best product given the knowledge of our writing crew.

EDIT: We will be trying to learn and use Ophir's system with his indirect assistance, as Ophir will be playing the set at the UMD site.

Forgot to mention this, but the set will be 15 packets plus tiebreakers (2/2 each of Literature, History, and Science).

Could one of the mods create a discussion forum for the set?

This has been created; select "2018 Cal's Mid-Spring Tournament discussion" from your user control panel.

This is just an announcement that this set is not clear yet; there will be a HS coach and player hybrid mirror in Texas on 4/13. The set will be posted on the archive shortly after.

While I wait for ownership of the hsqb entry for CMST to be transferred to me, PDF copies of the packets can be found here.

The set is up on the archive, in the version it was played at the 3/10 and later mirrors. As noted in the description accompanying the archive entry, if you want the version of the set played at the 3/3 mirrors (with slightly different packetization and many errors left in), it's available on the web packets here.

Is there a Word version of these packets that could be uploaded? It appears that only PDFs were uploaded on the archives, and I'm not sure if the OphirStats version has the ability to export as Word files. (I suppose, since it's native text, I may be able to just copy/paste each page individually, but I'll resort to that later.)

Thanks!

Uploaded a zip of the docx packets on the packet archive, it's currently pending.
