Penn Bowl at Truman State (October 27, 2018)

Post by The Lutes of Dependency »

Hello everyone!

Truman State is pleased to announce that we will be mirroring Penn Bowl on October 27, 2018. Information about the set can be found here
Tournament Fees:
$120 Base Fee
-$10 Buzzer Discount per each working buzzer system you bring (this must allow for 8 players to play at once to qualify for the discount)
-$10 Per 200 miles traveled (one-way as determined by Google Maps)
-$10 Staffer Discounts

I highly encourage teams to bring moderators and buzzers, since that will help the tournament to run faster. We will provide staffers with a lunch (and maybe a breakfast too). If you are paying with a check, please be sure to make it out to “Academic Competition Organization.” Also let me know if you need an invoice to have your business office pay us.

Logistics:
We do not have rooms reserved yet.

To register, please email me and Jacob O’Rourke at [email protected] and [email protected] respectively with the subject line “Penn Bowl at Truman State” and tell us how many teams, buzzers, and moderators you will be bringing. I hope to see everyone there!

In case any of the teams didn't get the logistics email I sent out last night, we'll be meeting in Violette Hall room 1000 on Saturday morning. Check-in will be from 8 AM to 8:45 AM, with a short player meeting to follow.
