I am pleased to announce that Columbia Quiz Bowl will be hosting a mirror of 2023 HFT XV on May 6th, 2023. The tournament will be held at Columbia in Hamilton Hall and directed by Geoffrey Wu. Registration will begin at 9:00 am, and gameplay will begin at 9:30 am following an opening meeting at 9:20 am.
Payment:
The fee structure for each team is the following:
- Base fee: $100 USD
- Buzzer discount: -$10 / working buzzer set
- Approved moderator discount: -$25 / staffer (with laptop)
- Travel discount: -$5 per 100 miles one way (according to Google Maps)
- Shorthanded discount (1-2 person team): -$50
- Minimum fee: $40 USD

The field will initially be capped at 24, which may expand depending on staffers and interest. Any teams above the cap will be placed on a waitlist. The registration deadline is May 4th, 2023.
