QUESTION SET: The Varsity division will be playing the NAQT set IS-228. This is a national qualifying packet.

ELIGIBILITY:The Varsity division will be open to all Southern California high school teams. Other teams are welcome to join under the approval of the tournament directors to ensure question security.

DATE/TIME: The tournament will take place on March 23rd, 2024. There will be an opening meeting at 8:50AM PST and matches will begin at 9:00 A.M PST.

PRICING:
$90 for the first team
$80 for subsequent teams

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Teams will be allowed to have up to 6 players, but only 4 players can play at one time. Teams with more than 6 players will be asked to split into two teams. Teams will only be allowed to make substitutions at halftime.

Each round will be played as two untimed halves of 10 tossups each. Official NAQT rules will be adhered, with the exception that matches shall be run as untimed halves of ten questions each. In addition, ACF rules will be followed regarding timing and tiebreakers. The exact formal of the tournament (round-robin or bracketed) will depend on the exact number of teams.
