ESPN @ Brown (Open)

Brown Quizbowl is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Northeast mirror of ESPN on March 16, 2024 April 13. The tournament will take place at the Barus and Holley building (184 Hope St.) Sayles Hall (81 Waterman St.). We will be holding an opening meeting at 9:30 am.

Team formation and registration

Payment:
The fee structure for each team is the following:
- Base fee: $140 USD
- Buzzer discount: -$10 / working buzzer set
- Approved moderator discount: -$15 / staffer with laptop
- Travel discount: -$10 per 200 miles one way (according to Google Maps)
- Shorthanded discount (1-2 person team): -$40
- Minimum fee: $55 USD

Due to a current lack of teams, we will be postponing the mirror to 4/13 to allow for more signups. The tournament will instead take place in Sayles Hall and the field cap will be 8 teams.
