The tournament will take place at the Olin Center for Language and Cultural Studies (180 Packard Ave, Medford, MA 02155). Registration will open at 8:00 AM. The opening meeting will begin at 8:45 AM and gameplay will begin at 9:15 AM. I, Peter Scully, will be the tournament director. Please direct any questions about this site to me at [email protected].
Set Information
This tournament will run on IQBT Novice, an Americanized version of British Novice. This is an easy (one dot) difficulty set.

Rules
This tournament will use ACF’s gameplay rules with their addendum for the inclusion of powermarks.
Eligibility
A player is NOT eligible to play this tournament if they have met ANY of the following criteria:
- Scored more than 60 PPG in the prelims of a college tournament
- Were the top scorer (highest overall PPG) on a team that finished in the top 15% of the field, rounded up, at a non-novice college tournament
- Scored more than 60 PP20TUH in the prelims of HSNCT or 60 PPG in the prelims of PACE NSC
- Were the top scorer (highest overall PPG) on a team that finished in the top 30 at HSNCT or top 10 at PACE NSC
- Finished in the top 12 in IPNCT
- Scored more than 20 PPG in the prelims of ACF Nationals
