UNC-Chapel Hill will be hosting a Mirror of the Oxford Open on October 6th.
Details on pricing is still in the works and will be updated but here is a rough estimate:
-$120 per first team, $100 per subsequent team
-$10 per buzzer (1 max per team)
-$20 travel fee (over 200 miles)

Could the hosts of this tournament create a sign up sheet for people who don't have a team but want to indicate interest? I'd like to play but don't have a team yet

As of September 1st,
Room Registration is on SEpt 6th, then I can declare the building we will be in.
If you want to play but dont have a team, email me (see above) and ill add you name and email to my list for later.
If you have any more questions email me. I respond pretty quick (im addicted to my email)

Are there any updates on this? If the UNC team were to postpone this to another weekend (say, maybe late November, to give people a breather after SGI/Fall) then I'd consider traveling. Might bring a caravan of other folks.

So, not to be a pest, but we're about two weeks out from this. Is there a field update?

This Tournament has been cancelled due to low signups. I know Communication has been slow. This is due to me trying to round up other teams to finally confirm this event, however, school breaks do not align thus prompting cancellation. an email will be sent to those who signed up informing them of the cancellation.
