Favorite Albums
Against my better judgement, I've decided to make this thread so everyone can populate it with their topsters charts. Let me explain:
There's a website called neverendingchartrendering.org AKA Topsters 2. On this site, you can make custom charts of album covers (and movie posters, though all the images are confined to squares since the site is originally used for album covers I guess) to show people what kind of music you like. Circulating charts of "top 40/42/100 album" lists is pretty popular and common in online internet music nerd circles, so I figured, why not bring this to Quizbowl and watch the Mitski albums make their way onto every chart? I think people have been posting some of said charts in the hs quizbowl Discord, but I figured I'd bring this tradition to the forums. Feel free to post your "my favorite albums" charts here! I'll kick things off with my own top 100 chart from May 2nd.

Re: Favorite Albums
Didn't really think too hard about ordering. One album per artist, otherwise the first tier would've entirely been overrun by Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, and Playboi Carti.

Re: Favorite Albums
No particular order. Probably forgot a few that I like just as much as the ones I included.

Boomer Alert (also probably a good indicator of my mental age that it took me 5 edits to upload this image)

Grouped roughly by genre, then roughly by how much I like them. I'll regret my choices in the morning.

One per artist, grouped in tiers after the top two albums.

Re: Favorite Albums
screw it - completely off the top of my head, in only the vaguest order, limited to 2 albums per artist for diversity's sake (else you'd see a whole lot of certain folks ^^; )

Here's mine, as of a three or four months ago. Big Star's Radio City and Mary Lattimore's Silver Ladders probably make this list now but I didn't want to re-generate the chart.

Here's one I made a while ago that is still pretty accurate. A more full picture of my favorites can be browsed in my 5 and 4.5 star RYM ratings.

Re: Favorite Albums
Can't image, too lazy to learn, still want to post. So leaving aside cast albums from musicals, in no particular order:
Dirt-Alice in Chains, Vivid-Living Colour, Strong Persuader-Robert Cray, Somewhere in the Between-Streetlight Manifesto; Appeal to Reason-Rise Against; Are You Experienced, Electric Ladyland, and Jimi Plays Monterey-Jimi Hendrix Experience; Harlem Street Singer-Rev. Gary Davis; Cinquième As and Chapitre 7-MC Solaar; Surfing with the Alien-Joe Satriani; Trouble in Mind-Big Bill Broonzy, Rose Mountain-Screaming Females, Bright Lights EP and Blak and Blu-Gary Clark Jr., Flood-They Might Be Giants, The Bends-Radiohead (concur with Taylor here); My Favorite Things-Coltrane, The '59 Sound and Handwritten-Gaslight Anthem.
As you can see I have fairly substantial genre biases.
