Hello everyone! Biotechnology High School is proud to announce our Helix Bowl tournament, to be held on May 04, 2024 using the IS-223A question set, a standard introductory/novice set, making this tournament perfect for teams at a variety of experience levels and even first‐time quizbowl teams. Location & Timing — Our school is located at 5000 Kozloski Rd, Freehold, NJ 07728. Free parking will be available in our parking lot. Games will begin at 9 AM, though of course it would be advisable to arrive before then.

Field Size & Fees — The field cap is currently 24 teams, with any given school being limited to a maximum of 4 teams. We charge a flat rate of $85 per team. Teams will either be able to handle their own food or pay beforehand for us to provide pizza during the lunch break at a rate of $16 per pie, which can be coördinated with Mr. Arpa. Payment is via check made out to Biotechnology High School. We will take care of providing all equipment and staff.

Rules — We will be using the NAQT ruleset with untimed halves and the PACE code of conduct.
