Re: Results from Edmonson County MS Tourney?
I didn't stay for the awards, but Johns Creek won the final quick recall match against Johnson County 33-30. Russell played Edmonson A in the consolation, but I don't have the results of that one. I can probably have a more thorough answer on Monday.

Re: Brindlee Mountain Invitational 12/06/08
Edmonson County B and C are probably better labeled Edmonson County Middle School A and B, for Byko purposes.
We're really looking forward to this tournament. It's always well-run, and I've been impressed with HSPAQ so far.

Okay... remember how we were counted off for the (-5,19) w/o the comma? Well... Russell makes the same mistake accept maybe for the word 'and' or something.... We file inquiry. With an almost 'exactly same' inquiry, the chief official denies our claim saying that it was not necessary to include any...

Before anything else I'd just like to congratulate Dunbar and Danville on their first place overall and first place quick recall wins respectively. Ditto. These are two fine programs! With that out of the way, I'd just like to say that there were some aspects of the tournament that could have been ...

I've tweaked the article a little. KAAC now requires sentences to be at least two sentences long. They've always been open and friendly about suggestions, and lately have gone out of their way to find out what coaches and players would like to see changed in the game, and how KY can become more comp...

Edmonson County was delighted to be a part of this event. We would like to thank Mr. Blessman not only for the manner in which it was run, but also for all that he did for our team outside of the tournament. Our freshmen have made us promise that we'll attend next year, and our sophomore has volunte...

Edmonson County Middle School would like to thank Coach Henry and all of the volunteers at Brindlee Mountain for putting on a fine tournament. In the 5th/6th division and what I saw of the 7th/8th playoffs, the moderators were excellent and the rounds moved along very smoothly. The opposing coaches,...

We have a Zeecraft, but for something quick, easy, inexpensive, and durable, check out Anderson Buzzer Systems:

The basic system (10 players) with a case is $185. We bought one and we really enjoy it.

Out of curiosity - NAQT had once talked about hosting a Middle School National Championship. Does anyone know if they are still considering this, or did they kill the idea? I'd be interested in such an event and would be willing to help organize it. I started this thread for a similar purpose. I ha...

Sample 4 Quarters and PAC Format Sets
Does anyone know of a complete sample practice set of 4 Quarters and/or Panasonic format online? I have sample PACE and NAQT rounds and am loo...

1. The Questions Unlimited Rules as described above can be used into two formats: unabridged (designed for games to be scheduled 45 minutes apart) and abridged (30 minutes apart). 2. In the unabridged format, the 1st Quarter has 16 tossups, the 2nd Quarter has 8 tossups feeding into 4 bonus categor...

This was always the national tournament I heard the least about when I played. Is the format similar to the Questions Unlimited NAC? I'm pretty sure I'll be an assistant coach next year and just want to know what the perception of this tournament is. I know PACE and NAQT are on one end of the qualit...
