We've instituted a field cap of 16 for room reservation reasons. Given the current field, we shouldn't have to expand. We might still be able to if needed, but it's not 100%.

Reducing air travel by not flying in staff to national tournaments is likely a bad idea, because it reduces the quality of the staff pool while not really making an impact on the environment (as others have observed, those flights are almost certainly taking off anyway, with or without NCT/ACF Nats/...

Is ACF planning on making changes to their Regionals hosting guidelines to spell out more clearly what happens when an error by a Regionals host causes ACF to have to issue extra Nationals bids (for example, by failing to play off a tie between two undergraduate teams)?

Our own Matt Failor was allowed to compete (including in HSNCT) at grade 8, so i'm assuming it is allowed in Michigan. NAQT requires that (absent special approval to the contrary) players only play for the school(s) they actually attend. So middle schoolers cannot play for a high school (unless they also take classes there or have special approval), but a player in grade 8 at a K–12 school could play with high scho...

Oh, actual comment on question content: The tossup on the "time derivative" should really, really accept "differentiation with respect to time" as an alternate answer and prompt on "differentiation" the same as it does on "derivative". My biggest prediction is that at least one of the top six teams will be someone nobody in this thread picked for top six. There's always at least one surprise.

After some internal discussion we've tweaked the distribution a bit. Most importantly, it's now 22/22. Length is unchanged.
