Yes, but only within a minute of the end of the game.
Is this limited to content protests or procedural protests as well?

Re: Studying History and Art

I'm kinda interested, how much do you guys study per day? On normal days I study probably around 1-2 hours, but on days before tournaments, I study around 3-4. I really enjoy history so even if I'm not studying exclusively for quiz bowl by reading packets etc., I'm reading some book that helps me g...

Re: How Can We Make Quizbowl More Approachable and Inclusive

Note to moderators: let people have fun playing quiz bowl and encourage their teammates as long as it doesn't get into gloat-y territory. As long as they're not hurting anything or impeding the timely progress of the tournament (which Rishik's team clearly wasn't), don't do any of this. Neither you...

Re: How Can We Make Quizbowl More Approachable and Inclusive

A lot of responses on this thread seem to indicate that a large portion of players who are very involved in quiz bowl circuits think that toxicity comes from other quiz bowl players, but this has not been my experience at all. This is likely because the quiz bowl community is centered around the Ill...

- While I thought, at first, that the poll should be anonymous, I now agree with Gabe that people should be willing to stand by their votes. I was taken to task on FB last year by a player who thought I didn't vote his team high enough, but I shared my reasoning with him... and we both survived the...

I also didn't really like the first line of the Peloponnesian war tossup. The Kagan clue is either an easy power for someone who knows it and not useful at all for someone who doesn't. It's not big enough to require a fix - just a note for improvement.

I will echo Wonyoung's sentiments by saying that I thought power-marks were very fair and mostly consistent on this set. Like Raynor stated, last year's set was very power stingy. Moving the power mark a little farther forward was very justified and helped balance the difficulty and fairness of the...
