@Sandy

Love the division names. Who created them and why those particular players/coach?

I'll also be going to Stanford next year.

Danville always had the talent (from middle school stalwart Bate), but never the right coach to work them in high school. Matt Knupp (former JV coach at Dunbar), who does post on the forum, became their coach this year and has molded their relatively new team into what it is now.

We're not playing at our tournament.

Thanks for all comments, but KY Quizbowl/Testing is very strong. When there are teams like Manual (won UVA, congrats), Russell, Daviess County, Johnson Central, Madisonville, etc., that's something.

I'm not alkrav112, but he/she did indicate what school he/she was from.
t4. I always have to go with my team, Farmington: we've been on the rise all year, we retained all of our players from last year, and we've come close to beating or have beaten every team on this list.

bigtrain,

I think we are listed as 19th because we answered more questions correctly (192) than your team did (189). But, your team answered more questions faster than we did, so you all recieved the same score (1680).

Tony, calm down... I went to Walton two years ago and I clearly remember the videogame worksheet. I'm pretty sure Coach Dean knows that there is always trash in the first round of the playoffs. In addition, what's wrong with some pop culture/trivia sometimes... It adds another component to quizbowl....

Manyo2, we certainly have a exceptionally strong junior class, but our senior class can hold our own as well. None of the seniors went to ACE this past summer becuase of GSP, research, which is probably a reason you don't know about our seniors.

Who are you Manyo2? Who is the captain of Eastern?

How are the other teams in the Southeast like Dorman, James Island, Irmo, Ezell, etc.? In Kentucky, the usual teams to watch are Manual, Russell, Johnson Central, and Daviess County. I, myself, know little about these teams for most of them lost their starters from last year. I do know that Manual w...
