I think I speak for everyone at Princeton when I say we would all favor 3 seconds instead of 2. All the points Will brought up, especially about inconsistent timing rules being applied by mods who just feel bad negging after 2 seconds, seem to suggest that 3 would be a constructive and welcome change.

Agreed, Swarthmore will not be able to play if this is moved before Regionals and would love to attend. I should have just clarified that by "strongly prefer" I really mean to say what Rebecca is saying. We also can't come if it's before Regionals because of our final exam & study period schedule.

A few people pointed out some errors in the final stats. These all should be fixed now, and I have sent NAQT the new stats. If there are any other name/spelling errors, please let me know and I will fix them.

You could compute it with area under the curve too. The Gini coefficient is the area above divided by the total. I was just thinking it would work better this way because then a "harder" tournament would have a higher number.

PHSAT XXVI is PACE platinum certified! The top 6 teams in competitive division should receive invitations to PACE via their placement. More to come on this after the tournament concludes.
