Right now Mountain Brook is in the process of falling apart...I think when the current coach finally leaves (shes in way over her head...not familiar with SB at all...really imho she is holding the team back if thats possible) and the team gets a sponsor with some experience or substantial ambition....

I was told my by one of the Mountain Brook Juniors that Mountain Brook B went 4-3 and Mountain Brook A went 6-1 with its only loss coming by 170 to Mountain Brook B. I don't know if these were pool results and he left some stuff out but thats what has been relayed to me.

Come see us at GT and I would advise against NAQT...ACF is a far more enjoyable and testing format for major college (not JC) competition.

Just as a note...Alabama's spring break is almost universal. It dates back to when Spring Break was determined by a week long teacher's union conference which determined exactly when the break was. (typically right between 3rd and 4th Quarters).

Well the big problem for Alabama schools is that you scheduled it during our State-Wide spring break...thus many Alabama schools can't come because they either A. can't field enough players or B. can't field a team they feel is worth bringing.

Well, good luck, I haven't seen pizitz this year (saw them once last year) but they seemed pretty good. Not as good as they were in year's past but still pretty good. Then again, what do I know about MS SB.

What Grissom does is tremendous and I honestly think that given a proper program Mountain Brook, Vestavia, and possibly JCIB should be able to replicate the same kind of success. I'll get my coach to look into both of them. IE probably me. I guess I can be thankful that the school gives us whatever funds we need because if we had to fundraise we wouldn't ever go anywhere...we are so poorly organized.

I'm not implying any kind of problem with ISS. Mr. Cooper is pretty intense but he actually came, sought us out, and complimented us bigtime on our match against them at districts (a compliment I'm quite proud of) and more or less implied he was hoping for a rematch at regionals...sorry to dissapoin...

I technically didn't attend that match because our High School is only 10-12, but I've heard stories. That was the same year they blitzed the Russelville tournament too....
