NEG 5 uploading to HSQB/NEG 5 vs. SQBS

Hi folks,

For me personally, score keeping in NEG 5 is much easier to do than on paper, but we use SQBS for every tournament. Is there a way to upload NEG 5 stats to HSQB? If not, is there a similar Score sheet system to NEG 5 that would work with SQBS?

thank you.

Re: Missouri 2019-20

I remember their crosstown counterparts Liberty North having some good underclassmen (Max Hodes, Rachel Kim, Zach Rodick) last year. Could they end up better than the OG on Blue Jay Drive? Unfortunately, I'm still of the belief that the metro that gave Jeff and me our start remains behind the curve...

Thanks for the mention, Kyle. Id like to add to the list. Liberty (Original) - Liberty has made a comeback this year, making a large jump in improvement from January to the Late march tournaments in Smithville and at NKC. Putting up pretty decent stats at the NKC Varsity tournament, Liberty went und...

Literature "Progression"

So, thanks to QB, and the help that I've received on here, I have a restored love of reading. So much so that I got a Kindle and I've essentially ditched my phone for entertainment purposes. I've read a couple of QB cannon books, but it's all just kind of been grab and go with titles. Books I have r...

(Cancelled) FONS V Playtest (College Freshman and Above)

Hi folks, Due to many complaints being made about our novice set, I have arranged with my coach to hold a Playtest. This Playtest will take place online via Discord sometime in September. This will help us iron out issues before it is released for play. The restriction is due to FONS been run at a v...

Is there a reason that science is 4/3? It's actually 5/4. See the last two lines. Also, the total is 22/21, but the post says the total is 22/20. I think the post implies that they will be "subtracting a bonus", so it will be 22/20...if we're really entertaining this thought The thought is that thi...

Experienced editor?
So far, Matt Mitchell, Eric Mukherjee, and David Dennis (Washington MO) have agreed to assist me in evaluating the set. I am not sure if they will be on staff (paid), but I will make sure the packets go through them after editing occurs. and get a mention if they do help out.

Why is there 2.5/2.5 geo? Pedro, Here's what I can tell you We reduced the number of Geo because of the complaints that arose when we had 3/3. My coach enjoys writing Cross link questions (your example). I can't confirm that there will be an effort to reduce the number of tossups in that style, but...

Re: (No signature for Anonymity Reasons) Dealing with Toxicity in QB

You should make sure that your coach/teachers/other authority figures are aware that this happening, because this is coming across like bullying. If you’ve made them aware and they aren’t willing to step in, perhaps question them why? It seems your experience is being directly affected by this. You...

Dealing with Toxicity in QB

This has been an issue since I started. Several members of my team are like this. But. There is a Particular member on my team that repeatedly chooses to be blatantly rude and condescending towards me nonstop at QB practice and tournaments. It is definitely a hindrance on by play (I do well at tourn...

Hey, so I also started out as a geography specialist and expanded from there (though I was a generalist once I reached high school). Unlike geography, in which one specialist can rather easily power half the questions, history is a subject that you can always have multiple specialists in, due to its distribution and other factors. Even if your teammate gets the lion's share of history questions, there will always be gaps on toss...

There's no such thing as "stealing" points. Whoever buzzes first gets them. That's always good for your team—you increase your chance of beating another team to the question. (It's of course fair for your teammate to think that your efforts would be better spent in another part of the distribution....
