Re: Alabama Quiz Bowl 2022-23
Firstly, thank you to all of the ASCA members and everyone involved in running state for doing so. It went smoothly as far as I could tell. I want to congratulate the other champions in their respective divisions: Hoover and T.R. Miller. But I'd really like to recognize some of the other teams and p...

Re: 2021-22 MS Postseason Poll
I'd like to further emphasize how good Krish Nathan (7th grade, Bumpus MS & Hoover HS) is. He has not played in any middle school tournament's other than ASCA district and state this year, which do not have powers or negs. As that is one of, if not the biggest factor when looking at how good an ...

Re: Alabama 2019-2020 Discussion Thread
Elementary was a pretty tight division. Discovery, Monrovia, Opelika, and Liberty were all pretty solid. It probably could have gone either way in most matches. MS was also pretty tight. Baldwin, Liberty, Baldwin, Opelika, and Discovery were probably the top teams there. I thought it was Baldwin an...

Re: Alabama 2019-2020 Discussion Thread
Will there be a Hoover Melee 2020? Also, as Kapil did with HS, can we make a MS ranking? I know this would probably have to be done after the Opelika tournament, given that most of the usual “top-tier” MS teams seem to be going.

Re: Alabama 2019-2020 Discussion Thread
I would also like to point out that Baldwin went to the annual Lewis Falcons tournament in Florida, and won, beating national team, Midtown Classical. In fact, they beat Midtown A (who got 3rd) twice, and Midtown B (Who got 2nd). Although Midtown Classical did lose Robert and William Muñiz (at least...

Middle school NASAT type thingy bob.
I'm going to keep this simple, a middle school NASAT or NASAT type tournament sounds fun. Wondering what other Quiz Bowl players thought about this.

I love the new Mortal Kombat. Im bored right now so Im going to ask all of you that own MK11 your main(s). I main Jade. I like the range on her uppercut and have generally always loved playing staff charaters in fighting games. Sometimes, I play Scorpion. He is easy to use without really thinking ab...

I have been wondering what difficulty to use for studying for MSNCT. I have been using middle school and easy high school at the same time. Thanks.
